UPDATE: Hit and run witness sought
Police need assistance in locating a man who allegedly witnessed the fatal hit and run.
The search is on for a witness who may be able to shed led on Tuesday’s tragic hit and run.
A motorist had allegedly witnessed the crash, but left the scene without supplying the police with his statement.
With investigations underway, the police are urging the man to come forward.
According to Captain Shooz Magudulela, SAPS spokesman, the 31-year-old motorist was charged with culpable homicide after he was arrested.
Anyone who can assist with information has been asked to contact the investigating officer, Warrant Officer Shabir Ismail, on 082 839 0019.
