Family Fun Day to raise funds for Malawi
A Hi Tea was also held, along with a fashion show for the ladies
The Ladysmith Women’s Forum, together with Humi’s Baking and Zeenys Couture, held a Family Fun Day yesterday (Sunday) at the Indoor Sports Complex. The event was held to raise funds for homes that were destroyed in the heavy rains in Malawi earlier this year.
Food stalls and cakes were the talk of the event, with mouth-watering dishes and even a cake competition on show.
A Hi Tea was also held, along with a fashion show for the ladies.
A fleet of quad bikes had the little ones entertained on the day, and all the kiddies begged to go on “just one more ride”.
There was a good turnout, as a large number of people streamed through the gates throughout the day to see what was on offer.
Alansaar Radio even broadcast live from the complex, pounding out great music and news from Ladysmith.
The fun day was enjoyed by one and all, for a good cause!
