On Wednesday, April 15, the senior boys’ hockey team played in a tournament against various Newcastle and Vryheid schools.
They played four games and the results were as follows: They beat St Dominic’s 1 – 0, lost against NSPS and Huttenpark 2 – 0 and drew against NRS.
The boys then took part in the Zululand Hockey Trials on Thursday, April 16 and we are excited to announce that five of our boys made the team and two have been selected as non-travelling reserves.
We would like to congratulate Nhlangano Zulu; Mthobisi Dlamini; Oluhle Simelane; Cameron Aitken and Lama Mazibuko, as well as Ivan Tschirpig and Sheldon Hellberg, our reserves. Do us proud boys, we wish you the best of luck.
