Arbor Park Primary sprouts shrubbery

Minolta Newcastle donated 50 shrubs to Arbor park Primary School on Tuesday morning as part of a community project.
“We want to give back to the community and ensure our commitment to the society and environment has been met,” said Vernon van der Merwe, Minolta branch manager. He said planting trees was important to provide in the demand for paper.
Lucky Xaba from Food and Trees for Africa, demonstrated to the eager pupils the correct way to plant a shrub. He encouraged them to get more involved in planting trees and plants.
Pamela de Jager, Arbor Park Primary School’s principal, thanked Minolta and Food and Trees for Africa for their kind contributions to the school.
