Says the Vryheid Lions President Teresa Seegers, “For over 30 years the Lions Mayfair has been the one big annual event that the community looks forward to, and we have always had wonderful support from the community. Over the years, this support has enabled the Lions in Vryheid to give well over R1 million back to the community with our donations to charities and good causes. It really has been our privilege to do so, and we thank the community for support that ultimately make these donations possible.”
Among the organisations that have benefitted have been Vryheid Child Welfare, CMD, Watch Monkey Sanctury, Cansa, Dish Up With Love, Hlobane Feeding Scheme, Vryheid SPCA, Inkululeko Babies Home, Umfolozi Home Based Care Project, Vryheid Community Watch, Vryheid Hospice and many other organisations, projects and individuals.
All money raised by the Vryheid Lions at the Mayfair are donated back to the community.
So see you at the Mayfair. There’s the inflatable circus to see, the funfair, a simulator, emergency demonstrations lots and lots of food stalls, free diabetes testing by KZN Private Ambulance, lots to see, lots to buy, lots of friends to meet, lots of fun.
See you there!
