The third suspect in the murder case of Ladysmith gym owner, Uraj ‘Joe’ Ahir made a brief appearance in the Ladysmith Magistrates Court last Tuesday. Faizel Drew appeared before the C-court magistrate and chose not to apply for bail. The case has been postponed to Friday, May 15. Mr Ahir was found dead at his Ladysmith home on April 7, 2014. Two suspects were arrested but Drew evaded police before being arrested in Fordsburg on April 23, 2015.
