The ‘Soul Buddyz’ at Mange Primary School have been hard at work lately, doing their bit to help out the community.
They recently stepped in to lend a helping hand when they heard of the plight of Mr Mkhize, a community member in urgent need of assistance. They approached Mrs Mthembu, a community care giver, informing her that Mr Mkhize needed their help as he had no food and his home was in urgent need of rebuilding. The matter was then forwarded to the manager of Sbonokuhle Care Centre, who have agreed to assist Mr Mkhize with groceries for the next three months.
The ‘Buddyz’ and their facilitators urge everyone to support their project to build a house for Mr Mkhize. Anyone who is willing to assist may contact Buhle Shabangu on 074 761 8845 or Thuleleni Ndwandwe on 078 421 1355.
Mange Primary’s ‘Soul Buddyz’ also received a R5 000-00 uniform voucher from Pep Store which will assist them in providing uniforms for orphans and vulnerable children in the school community. The ‘Soul Buddyz’ along with the staff and facilitators at Mange Primary, as well as the School Management Team and the School Governing Body, would like to extend their thanks to Mr Shelembe, the manager and supervisor at Pep Stores and his team, for supporting the ‘Soul Buddyz’ project.
