Voting lines for Kwêla Town of the Year 2015 are open

Get those thumbs working and propel our town to the top!

Voting lines for Kwêla Town of the Year 2015 have opened.

Until this Sunday, residents can cast their vote for Newcastle to scoop the R1-million marketing prize, and host the winner’s ‘makietie’ at the end of September.

Get those thumbs working and propel our town to the top!

Following the documentary on Newcastle, which aired on kykNET’s Kwêla last Wednesday, all nine provincial finalists have been featured on the channel.

Now it is up to residents to make the final decision.

To cast your vote, SMS the word Newcastle to 33157 at a cost of R1.50 per SMS, and remember only 30 votes can be cast from the same cellphone number.

Your vote could pay off in more ways than one.

Vulintaba Country Estate has sponsored R5 000 as a lucky draw for residents who vote for Newcastle, which equals a prize of R500 for 10 people.

Let’s make the most of this chance and vote Newcastle!
