DURING the holidays, Ayanda Mkwanazi and Hanna Meyer played in the u/18 KZN CD team at the u/18 B-League tournament in Potchefstroom from 5 – 9 July.
Out of the six games played, semis and finals, they won four, so they achieved second place and were awarded silver medals. Well done, girls!
Four ex-learners of VHS: NF Dlamini (BA Com); SN Khuzwayo (BA); HP Madide (BA Phar) and R Ramlall (BSc) are currently enrolled at Rhodes University and their studies are going well. VHS is proud of these ex-learners and we wish them well.
The third term will also be a busy one with tennis, soccer and cricket being played as well as many other activities. Most prominent is the Matric Farewell at the end of next week. Great excitement, anticipation and preparation is underway.
