Michaelis Schule – Third term kicks off
We especially would like to welcome a new staff member, Mrs Lesley Ritchie, who is now our Grade 6 teacher. Mrs Ritchie has decided to move from Johannesburg to Vryheid, to be back in Northern Natal. We hope that she will feel at home very soon and that she will enjoy teaching at our beautiful school.

We especially would like to welcome a new staff member, Mrs Lesley Ritchie, who is now our Grade 6 teacher. Mrs Ritchie has decided to move from Johannesburg to Vryheid, to be back in Northern Natal. We hope that she will feel at home very soon and that she will enjoy teaching at our beautiful school.
With that, we would also like to thank Mrs Jill Shand, for being our substitute teacher while we looked for a new Grade 6 teacher. She did a sterling job and went above and beyond what was expected.
Cricket: The under 11 cricket team travelled to Pongola to play their first cricket match of the season on Tuesday, July 21. We won the match with six wickets to spare. Our very own Reghan Elliot was named man of the match, with his unbeaten 27 runs and 3 wickets.
Well done, boys. You did us proud!
Unfortunately the u/13 match had to be cancelled because of the weather, but we are grateful for the rain which brought much needed relief for us all.
