Ladysmith High School (LHS) pupil Thembelihle Mzila participated in the National SAICA Sage Pastel Accounting Olympiad that was held at LHS in May.
Her achievement in the Olympiad was astounding!
The 18-year-old was placed first provincially and second nationally.
10 other learners from the school also took part, with varying results.
All the learners who participated had great fun and gained valuable experience, and are excited about the next Olympiad.
Thembelihle found the Olympiad to be tough and challenging, but enjoyed every bit of it.
“I really enjoyed studying and participating, especially with my friends from school,” she smiles.
Thembelihle’s family, together with the LHS principal and educators, are very proud of her achievements and wish her everything of the best. This girl really knows how to “crunch those numbers”!
