Andante Independent School held its annual Inter-School Chess Championships on Saturday. Primary and intermediate phase children from Monument and Egerton Primary School, Hamilton Preparatory School, Andante Independent School and Limit Hill school took part in the challenge.
The competition included three rounds of games, followed by a play-off and ending with the final.
The focus was not on the learners’ ages, but rather their abilities and skills.
