A happily ever after for Sisana
Growing up in an under-privileged home, Mr Buthelezi said that he knew only too well what it is like living in a house that is falling apart.

With a smile on her face, Sisana Mhlungu received the keys to her new house this morning.
After years of living in a mudhouse that was falling apart, Sisana can finally rest with ease in her new two-roomed house thanks to Mr Buthelezi of Shenge Soil Design Laboratory and some of his co-workers.
The team started working on Sisana’s house in the second week of July and today they officially handed over the keys.
Growing up in an under-privileged home, Mr Buthelezi said that he knew only too well what it is like living in a house that is falling apart.
“We used to put containers around the house when it was raining to hold all the water coming in through the holes in the roof,” he recollected.
Mr Buthelezi said that it was growing up under such conditions that encouraged him to work harder at school so that he could be well educated and secure a better future for himself and his family.
When he read the story of Sisana Mhlungu in the Vryheid Herald on June 19 (Nothing but the whistling, winter wind), he was immediately touched and wanted to help.
Six weeks later, the house is done and a very healthy and happy looking Sisana welcomed us into her beautiful new house.
According to her neighbours and the builders who have been working on the house, Sisana’s health seems to have also taken a turn for the better since they started working on the house and they are all certain that it is due to the decrease in her stress load.
Sisana is very grateful to Mr Buthelezi and could not hide her joy as they showed her around the house.
