The Egerton chess team won their 3rd inter school chess championship for 3 years in a row.

The inter school chess championship was held at Andante school on Saturday where other primary schools from Ladysmith took part in the championships.

The competition was tough and the learners displayed an in depth knowledge of chess. Egerton won the trophy and will be eager to take it again next year and making it four years in a row.
