If all goes according to plan, we also want to open a junior cricket league, where we will participate and play against different districts. We will focus on under 11 and under 13 cricket teams (from different schools) in Vryheid District.
THE next Cricket Clinic will be held from September 24 to 26 and will be hosted by former Natal, Transvaal and South African fast bowler, Naveen Ramnarain.
The fee for the three days will be R650-00 per child and the venue will be NRS Sports Field near West End. On Friday afternoon, September 25 there will be a video session presented by the coach.
We also want to focus more on underprivileged children at different schools who have a passion for cricket. A lot of children at our primary schools have a passion for cricket but, due to lack of training and the necessary coaching, nobody notices them so they cannot live their dream.

Naveen Ramnarain, the coach of the Cricket Clinic, is a former Natal, Transvaal and South African fast bowler. He is a Cricket South Africa Level 3 coach. Naveen qualified in 1999 and is also a Cricket South Africa Level A umpire. He coached the Gauteng under 15 cricketers from 1999-2002 and Inland under 17 cricketers from 2005-2007. Naveen was awarded KZN “Coach of the Year” in 2007 and KZN “Umpire of the Year” for the 2011/2012 Season. To date he is still coaching cricket at different clubs and at some schools and is also part of cricket selections.
