It is believed that an abandoned truck found on the Bergville road this morning (Tuesday) may have been hijacked.
A member of Secure SA first spotted the truck.
The vehicle was parked on a gravel road on the Bergville route. The doors were eerily left open, with no load on the back and no sign of the occupants.
Secure SA immediately contacted police.
Police and forensic experts were at the scene. SAPS are investigating.
