THE staff of Oral Dental Solutions visited Mahloni Primary School on September 4 to give 23 learners school uniforms.
Last year they visited the school with a mobile clinic where learners were taught the importance of dental education. The foundation phase learners from Grades R to 3 were given a free consultation, toothpaste and toothbrushes. The school would like to thank dental practitioners, Mr BS Mthembu and Miss NN Mngomezulu.
“We further wish that our relationship with them will be a continuous one, through caring and support of education.”
Mahloni Primary School was visited by Okhokhaweni Primary School on September 5 to play some soccer and netball matches.
Both teams showed great enthusiasm and passion for the sports activities. Mahloni’s netball girls’ B team won their match 7 – 6 and the A team won their match 20 – 18. The boys’ soccer teams also played well, with the B team drawing 2 – 2 and the A team winning 4 – 1.
It was great to see learners performing parliamentary debate. They were also entertained with a gumboot dance by Isicathamiya Afro Gospel Indlamu Amahubo.
