Cattle chaos in Ruby Gailey Drive
Cows and Public Safety clashed in a rodeo-style battle for control of Ruby Gailey Drive (Warning: video is large)

Cattle went on the rampage in Ruby Gailey Drive as Public Safety tried to corner them earlier this morning (Friday).
The six-strong group of unruly bovines decided to set up shop in a garden in Ruby Gailey. They were cornered by pound staff and Public Safety officers, but clearly did not want to be removed without some chewing-of-cud and a bit of frisky escapism.
The cattle managed to break through police lines twice before their ringleader was captured.
After a mammoth struggle, he was eventually secured. His friends managed to elude capture, scattering in all directions. A “cow hunt” is currently underway for the elusive, patty-dropping herd.
As one officer was heard to quip, “It is going to be a long day if it starts like this!”
