A 20-year-old suspect was arrested for murder yesterday (Tuesday) by Ezakheni Detective Services.
This after the Ezakheni Community Service Centre (CSC) received information that a man had been murdered in the Embizeni area of Ezakheni.
On arrival at the scene, police found the body of a deceased male lying on the road. He had sustained a stab wound to the left side of the chest.
He has since been identified by his next-of-kin as 33-year-old Musawenkosi Mgaga.
A murder case docket was opened for investigation. After thorough investigation was carried out, the suspect was arrested.
He is set to appear in the Ezakheni Magistrate’s Court today on charges of murder.
