Pupils learn how to save water

uThukela officials addressed the learners about water conservation

uThukela Water officials were at Acaciavale Primary School (APS) on Tuesday morning to present talks about saving water.

The children seated themselves in the assembly area, where uThukela officials were present to address the learners on the myriad ways to save water.

The youngsters also had an opportunity to draw water conservation posters, a few of which were pasted in front of the assembly area where everyone could appreciate them.

In addition, poems were recited, songs sung and short speeches given, all relating to water.

It was a fun learning experience for teachers and pupils alike, and a big thanks must go to uThukela for imparting some invaluable information at this time when drought conditions are affecting all of us.
