
Besters police solved a murder case within hours and arrested a 17-year-old for the crime.
Yesterday, police were called to a local clinic, where a 17-year-old had passed away.
The youth had allegedly been stabbed during an argument between two groups of high school scholars.
The incident occurred in the Watersmeet area after school while the students were making their way home.
Police immediately went to work tracking down the groups involved and soon arrested a 17-year-old suspect for murder.
A knife, believed to have been the murder weapon, was seized.
The suspect is set to appear in the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court this morning.
