
An intelligence-driven operation held between Ladysmith Crime Intelligence operatives and the Upper Tugela Borderline Unit yielded results last week when a 24-year-old female was arrested for being in possession of dagga.
The operation was held in the Emmaus area of Bergville.
The suspect was found in possession of 46kg of dagga with an estimated street value of R50,000.
The suspect appeared in the Bergville Magistrate’s Court yesterday (Monday), facing charges of being in possession of dagga.
