When firefighters reached the scene, the engine of the car was still burning
An abandoned Audi A3 was found burning on the Pieters / Colenso road last night (Wednesday).
It is alleged that the car had been stolen and that hijackers set the vehicle on fire before fleeing the scene.
Firefighters, Public Safety, police and other emergency services were on scene.
When firefighters reached the scene, the car’s engine was still burning.
