Durban school donates beds for dogs

Eden College from Durban kindly donated dog beds to Khetani Animal Rescue in Winterton yesterday (Wednesday).

The college heard about the Khetani Animal Rescue project, which is a non-profit organisation that helps less fortunate people with veterinary access in the community. They also sell used goods to be able to take care of veterinary costs for people who can’t afford it, as well as re-home unwanted dogs.

Eden College decided to make the dog beds for Khetani Animal Rescue from used items and also curtains. 22 children from the college came up from Durban to Winterton to donate the beds.

This can be a challenge to other children to do the same thing in helping charities.
