UPDATE: A shocking find leads to more questions than answers.

Municipal workers came across a decomposed and headless body in Amcor Dam on October 16.

Captain Shooz Magudulela, SAPS spokesman said it seemed the body had been in the water for some time.

It was later confirmed the deceased was wearing a brown leather jacket. No other clothing items have been recovered to date.

“If a family member has gone missing and was wearing a brown leather jacket, please contact the SAPS immediately,” he requested.

Police investigations continue.
