Prison break in Dundee

It appears as if the inmates scaled the fence...

There has been a prison break in Dundee.  Unconfirmed reports said that seven inmates escaped from the prison on the corner of Gladstone and Grey Streets in the early hours of the morning.

A check on the premises this morning revealed a piece of clothing hanging over a flattened razor wire on the Grey Street side of the complex.

This indicates the spot where the offenders made their break. sources said.  The Dundee Prison has been used to keep some of the inmates transferred from Glencoe prison that burnt down earlier this year.

At this stage it is not known for what offences those who broke out were being held for.  More details to follow.
