HLOBANE SAPS, churches, Izinduna, councillors, Community Police Forum members, Rural Safety members, various non-governmental organisation representatives and ordinary members of the Hlobane community came together recently.
They gathered at the Hlobane SAPS Police Hall, and the event was a Prayer Meeting asking the Almighty to help change the attitudes of criminals who are attacking and killing policemen and -women, as well as members of the public. It was a response to such a call by the State President.
The event was successful, being blessed with spiritual speakers. The programme director was Mr Dlamini, the Chain of Protection was performed by Pastor Ndwandwe, and the Word of God was given by Bishop Zakwe and Pastor Hlela.
Hlobane SAPS would like to thank everybody who were part of the event, and those at home and at work who also pray for the police. “The police belong to the community, and are the community. Let us treat them like our brothers and sisters, fathers and mothers.
“God bless the Hlobane community.”
