Car crashes and burns near Colenso
It is alleged that the car could have been a hijacked or stolen vehicle
A light motor vehicle crashed and burned last night (Friday) near Colenso on the R103 near Chieveley.
The car was travelling on the R103 heading towards Colenso from the N3 side when it crashed into railway line poles and caught on fire.
It is alleged that the car could have been a hijacked or stolen vehicle. There were no occupants at the scene when the authorities arrived. The vehicle was completely burnt out.
Fire & Emergency Services responded to the scene and dampened what was still burning.
Colenso police and RTI also responded.
