A jubilant Lani van der Mescht was all smiles when she learnt that she demolished her personal best time by the time keeper. Lani walked the 2km event in 18m46s.
Ivan also powered his way to the finish in the 2km run with an all time best of 11m01s.
In the 3km walk/jog, Vasanthee did well in a time of 22m 07s.
The 4km run was once again dominated by Nicky “The Flying” Williams in a time of 18m13s, followed by The “Miss Consistent” Jayrushka with a time of 17m 26s.
The mens race was dominated by Rikesh in a time of 18m06s.
The junior athlete Wium Williams won the junior 4km run, althou running green all over the road, needing blinkers next time and still finishing in a good time of 20m33s.
