Burning up the rubber for bike jol

The sound of revving bikes and the smell of burning tyres filled the afternoon air in Murchison Street

The Elite Pig Jol was abuzz with activity on Saturday in Murchison Street.

Stunt rider Deon Dreyer and his team of Angie Morris and Michaela Marais had the crowd cheering with excitement and anticipation as they carried out death-defying stunts and rubber-burning action.

Murchison Street was closed off when the bike show was on, so that the bikers could show off their dazzling skills on their two-wheeled machines. The crowds were all behind safety barriers so that nobody would be injured.

Games, prizes, lucky draws and of course bikes galore was the talk of the event.

Many people came from out of town to enjoy the action. The sound of revving bikes and the smell of burning tyres filled the afternoon air in the main street.

Young and old attended the event, showing that when it comes to motorbikes, it gets everyone going!
