Heavy winds blow down trees and geysers

Heavy winds blew down trees, branches and geysers in different areas of Ladysmith this afternoon.

Motorists were lucky when falling branches in Centenary Road missed their vehicles by inches.

Branches were also ripped from trees in Francis Road, evidenced by the debris lying all over the road.

The wind seems to have died down, but motorists are warned to be vigilant.
