Flooding in parts of town
If possible, avoid the areas that have been flooded altogether
Parts of town have been flooded after this afternoon’s downpour.
At this stage, the areas in which flooding has taken place have been identified as Centenary Road (the bridge has been blocked off by N3TC and RTI), the Acaciavale area and surroundings, and also Lyell Street.
If you should find yourself in or near the above-mentioned areas, drive slowly and carefully. If possible, avoid these areas altogether.
