Youth with a purpose
These youngsters will be holding an event on December 19 at Inkululeko Childrens Home from 11H00 AM,and all local young people are invited to be a part of this movement.
Local young people can now look forward to a very educational and fun December.
This is what new youth empowerment group iTh!nk Educational Social Gathering is aiming to introduce in Vryheid.
These young people say that they saw this gap in how most youngsters usually turn to alcohol and other unpleasant activities as a result of boredom during the holidays.
“We wanted to create a network of young people who are on the know in terms of what to expect when they go out in to the ” big world” of tertiary education,” said Skhulile,a member of this team.
The group will be holding an event on December 19 at Inkululeko Childrens Home from 11H00 AM,and all local young people are invited to be a part of this movement where there will be local guest speakers and young people will be interacting and having fun.
The team is currently seeking sponsors and donations in order to make this event possible.
