Fast-acting officers nab thieves
Officer Kunene gave chase after the two criminals and also called for back-up
Two thieves were arrested this evening (Monday) after a Public Safety officer witnessed a woman being robbed of her cell-phone in Murchison Street.
Officer Kunene saw the woman getting robbed by two males and reacted immediately. He gave chase after the two criminals and also called for back-up.
Other Public Safety officers assisted, leading to the capture of both men. Police were also on scene.
The terrified woman was brought in to the police station and she identified her assailants.
