Police recover 100kgs of dagga
The three were arrested for the possession of dagga weighing at about 100kgs
An intelligence driven operation conducted by the Amangwe police yielded positive results when 100 kilograms of dagga was recovered.
On December 11, Amangwe police, under the command of Station Commander Captain SJ Ngcobo, organised the operation where identified people were searched.
This led to the arrest of three people, aged 28, 50 and 80.
Police spokesperson Captain Struwig explains:
“The three were arrested for the possession of dagga weighing at about 100kgs. The estimated street value of the dagga is over R150 000.”
During the anti-crime operation, police also issued seven fines for traffic-related offences.
