Three criminals met their match when they were apprehended by community members after robbing a woman in Tanjore Road.
At about 1.30pm today (Wednesday), the three robbers held a woman at knife-point in Tanjore Road and demanded that she hand over her handbag. They then made their getaway by running through a yard, at which point members of the community stopped them.
The community was able to keep the opportunistic crooks from running away until police showed up and arrested them.
