Update: Schoolgirl shoots herself
It is unclear how she had access to the gun
A high school girl was found at home in the Hospital Park area at about 11am today with a gunshot wound to her shoulder.
She was taken to La Verna Hospital for treatment and is currently in ICU in a stable condition.
She was home alone and the weapon used was a gun kept in the safe. It is unclear how she had access to the gun.
Police are investigating the incident, but no cases have been opened yet.
