Vryheid Landbou High School – 100% pass rate for Landbou

We began this year running, literally. Our learners are hard at work practising their athletic skills and becoming fit for the upcoming athletic season and our house sport on January 28.

LANDBOUSKOOL Vryheid began 2016 on a high note.

To the class of 2016 and their parents, thank you for your effort that paid off in our school to achieve our 100% pass rate. Congratulations to our dux learner, Geert Slump. We wish our tall trees the greatness that we have seen in them. Thank you for the contribution you have made to the school and the legacy you have left!

Congratulations to our neighbouring schools for the good results they also had.

On registration day, the educators greeted all the old and welcomed all the new faces to Landbou. We hope that your journey at our school will be filled with lots of memorable moments.

On a sad note, we had to say farewell to two of our staff members. Miss C van Aswegen was married on December 19 and settled in Standerton. Miss S Khonjelwayo was appointed as HOD for Physical Science at VHS. We wish her luck with this new endeavour.

At Landbou we are well aware of the consequences of a very dry season. We pray for the country and also put new measures in place to save water. We wish the community the best for the year 2016. May God bless us!
