Huge accident causes traffic delay near Harrismith

Both the northbound and southbound lanes are closed after a huge motor vehicle accident near Harrismith earlier this evening.

Three heavy motor vehicles and one light motor vehicle were involved in a collision. Mass fatalities and casualties have been reported.

Emergency personnel, including N3 Toll Concession (N3TC), are currently clearing the scene so that traffic can flow normally again.

Take note that significant delays in traffic flow can be expected.
