Negemadi bids farewell to their graduates.

Negemadi FET Training institution for social auxiliary workers, hosted its graduation ceremony at Kruin Dutch Reformed Church, on January 22.

A group of 41 students celebrated their graduation after a year of hard work and training to become qualified Social Auxiliary Workers. They are now looking forward to pursuing a career of helping others.

Negemadi is a FET accredited institution, and a Christian organisation with its roots in the Dutch Reformed Church. It has training campuses in Newcastle, Ladysmith, Vryheid and Kempton Park.

This was the sixth group of students who graduated since their doors opened in 2010.

Moderator, Grè Erasmus, said they were very proud of the graduates for choosing such a profound profession, where they would be helping their communities.

“You will be playing a major role in the community. The profession you have chosen is definitely one you can carry with pride,” said Mrs Erasmus.

The two top students who excelled last year, were Shirley-Ann Delport and Bongiwe Sithole.

Mrs Erasmus concluded by wishing the graduates all the best for the future.
