Ncome inmates clean up their act

NCOME Correctional Services has been helping their inmates ‘clean up their act’ through the School Cleaning Project which is part of the Offender Rehabilitation Program.

NCOME Correctional Services has been helping their inmates ‘clean up their act’ through the School Cleaning Project which is part of the Offender Rehabilitation Program.

On the 13th of January inmates from Ncome went to clean the Ngangayiphi Primary School, which is under the Nongoma area.

The cleaning took two days and the head of the Nongoma Correctional Centre Mr Zungu assisted them.

On the 14th of January, they visited Mkhindini Primary School, which is situated in the Melmoth area.

The Ncome management area commissioner Dr LJ Zikhali saw both these schools as a great way for the inmates to give back to the community and how this would be a positive contribution towards their rehabilitation.
