Chelmsford’s stars shine bright

Chelmsford Combined School held its awards evening at the Fairleigh Community Hall on January 27.

Principal, Mervin Wood, addressed the parents and honourable guests present. Ward Councillor and Newcastle Local Council’s Chief Whip, Mqapheleni Ncgobo was also among the esteemed attendees.

Mr Wood encouraged parents and pupils to work together with the school to create a more stable future.

Chelmsford Combined School achieved an overall pass rate of 92 per cent for 2015.

Mr Wood commended all the awardees on a job well done. He further expressed his gratitude toward the teachers and parents for their assistance and co-operation.
