A 32-year-old woman was attacked and robbed on Thursday morning in the Ruby Gailey Drive area.
The lady was on her way to work when a man punched her in the face, grabbed her bag and fled. She was shocked and in pain. The robber made off with cash, as well as other belongings.
K9 officers responded to the scene.
Many people living in Ruby Gailey Drive are complaining that this area has become unsafe and crime-riddled. Ruby Gailey and interlinking roads are always busy in the mornings and afternoons due to schools nearby.
“We really hope something is done about this; we really feel unsafe in this area”, said one concerned resident.
