RICHARDS Bay donated 10 tons of water to Vryheid on Wednesday last week.

Communities from far and wide have set off on a mission to help Vryheid by donating water to give aid as the water crisis has reached its peak in town.

According to AfriForum member Magda Viktor, they have been receiving a very positive response to the call for help and tons of litres are being delivered at the Klipkerk almost every day.

Some Grade 8 boys from Vryheid High School, members of the Neighbourhood Watch, KwaZulu Private Ambulance and the SAPS all helped to offload the truck full of water bottles.
