In the early hours of this morning (Friday), a VIP bakkie and the Mercedes-Benz it was escorting collided at the intersection of Princess and Murchison Street.
The details of the collision are unclear at the moment, but what is known is that the bakkie side-swiped the Mercedes.
No injuries were sustained.
Police and breakdown services responded to the scene.
