Arrested with drugs in the CBD
The street value of the drugs is estimated at around R1500
A 38-year-old man was arrested for possession of drugs in the CBD on Monday evening.
Ladysmith police officers were carrying out crime prevention patrols in town when they spotted a suspicious-acting man in Forbes Street at around 11.15pm. In his possession, police found 25 straws and three mandrax halves. The street value of the drugs is estimated at around R1500. The suspect appeared in the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, facing charges of being in possession of drugs.
