Ichthus trio participate at KZNCSSA

Three of Ichthus’ swimmers participated in the KZN Christian Schools gala in Durban on February 20. Schools from North Durban, South Durban and the North Coast participated in the gala.

This is the first time that u/7 to u/9 swimmers were permitted to participate at a KZNCSSA swimming event.
Their results were as follows:
Ntsako Mawila (B u/7): 25m Butterfly – 2nd; 25m Breaststroke – 3rd; 25m Freestyle – 3rd; 25m Backstroke – 1st.

Amiel Laloo (B u/9): 25m Butterfly – 1st; 25m Breaststroke – 2nd; 25m Freestyle – 2nd; 25m Backstroke – 2nd.

Mabotse Mawila (G u/10): 50m Freestyle – 8th; 50m Backstroke – 6th.
