Additional manpower from has been roped in to assist the team tasked with cutting grass in Estcourt.
Umtshezi’s Acting Municipal Manager Elphas Dladla was responding to questions about the grass cutting schedule.
“This time around the rains came down unexpectedly after the country-wide drought. We are trying to catch up with the pressure and have even called our Weenen and Wembezi staff to assist us. The work should be noticed on the ground at this stage,” said Mr Dladla.
