Colenso police are appealing to the public to assist them in locating 24-year-old Bongani Gabela (24), also known as “Stu”.
Gabela works in the Johannesburg area and was last seen boarding a taxi from Ladysmith to Johannesburg on January 5.
He has not been seen or heard from since.
Gabela is described as being about 1.8m tall and of average build, weighing about 70kg. He wears his head bald, but has an unshaven face. There is a scar on his forehead, two scars on his head, and a scar on his foot. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing red trousers, red shoes and a checked shirt.
Anyone who has seen this man or knows of his whereabouts is requested to contact the investigating officer, Sergeant Duma, at Colenso SAPS on 036-422-2222 or 076-659-5133. Crime Stop can also be contacted on 08600-1011.
