In the swing of things at the Huttie Golf Day

Congratulations to the winners, and all those who took part in the competition!

Huttenpark Primary School recently hosted its annual golf day at Newcastle Golf Club.

More than 140 players teed off on the day, desperately hoping for a hole in one.

In the end, Llewellyn Grobbelaar and Dennis Bellingham walked away victorious, claiming the top spots.

Prizes were awarded to the following women: Yolande Struwig, Joanny Campher, Deidre Krog and Hannelie Le Roux.

There were also awards for the longest drive, closest to the pins. In addition, the school held a wheelbarrow raffle.

In the best water table category, the team from Sunnybank Play and Learn Centre managed to place first, despite going up against some serious competition.

The school thanked all its sponsors for contributing to the overall success of the event.

“Whether it was a prize, voucher, waterhole or cash donation you sponsored, we appreciate your contribution towards our golf day. We look forward to your support in the future.”

Congratulations to the winners, and all those who took part in the competition!
